A POST!!!

Nothing too much to report, just wanted to post again for my sister who checks this site every day. Bought a new video game today, which I'm really excited about, went to church with Dad, Mom and Tim, which was fun. The service wasn't too interesting, but it was still fun to go. I'm going to go again tomorrow to St. Paul's with everyone else too, I just like going to church a lot. The reason we went tonight at all is because we only have one working car right now and it can't hold us all, so some of us are going to stay home tomorrow, so we had to go to church tonight. Other than that, life is pretty much the same as always, fun and layed back. Hope everyone else has a good day too.

The news of the week thus far

Let's see, yesterday I helped a parishioner from St. Paul's move her stuff from her house into a moving van. My friends Gregory and Monica helped, along with Alfie, so it wasn't too hard. We all got payed which was very nice. Then last night I went to plan Summer Retreat at "earthtones" in Webster with Alfie and Tim. We got a good group of people and retreat sounds like a lot of fun. Then today, I woke up too late to go to House of Mercy so I've just been hanging out. We've got softball again tonight, hopefully we'll find a ride since Lucie as dance. Tim might take us so that he can plan a little bit more with Nora (our youth minister) or we might just get a ride with Nora if Tim doesn't want to go. So today should be good. Tomorrow I might go to church with Clare (she didn't get to go this past weekend), then Thursday I'll probably go to HoM. Friday I might go with Nora to HoM because we would be taking the kids to Roseland (water park), which is really close to where retreat is. If I did this I would have to pack Thursday night, then I'd be gone all day Friday, all day Saturday, and then almost all of Sunday. Guess it's gonna be a busy week.

Info

To answer your question Sarah: we (Alfie, Tim and I) are going on Summer Retreat. Basically, our youth group goes to camp Koinonia for Friday night, all Staurday, and most of Sunday, where we hang out and talk about God/religion/the world/ourselves/a lot of things. It's incredibly fun and I look forward to it now the two times of year retreat comes along (winter and summer). We leave this Friday at six and get back Sunday around 3ish (depending on who drives). I'm super excited. Hope that answers your question.

Just a little longer

The last grad party of the summer for me is tomorrow. It will be nice being able to relax and not have to think about any more parties I have to go to. I mean, I have fun at them, they can just be a pain to try to schedule in with everything that everyone else is doing. Other than that, nothing much is up. Retreat is the weekend after this (it starts a week from today), so I"m really excited about that. Till later.

Happy Birthday Mom!!!!!

Relax

Got my haircut this morning, so now it's really short, which is kinda exciting. Decided not to head down to HoM (House of Mercy) today, and to relax instead. Also, the pool is 86 and it's not even 10 yet.

OH YEAH. =D

I love summer.

Today has been good. I slept in way too late, mostly because I was soo tired from volunteering at the House of Mercy and because I went too bed late. But the rest of the day has just been playing and swimming, which has been great. Yay summer!

Sum-up.

So the bikeride I went on yesterday? Crazy. It was a lot farther away than I thought it would be, and a lot of bad/annoying things hapened. It started raining/thundering while I was 7 miles from home, a traffic light went out, so I had to pretend to be a car in order to get through the intersection safely, and the soda I brought broke open while in the pouch behind my seat. Some how though, I'm still glad I went. It was good excersize and a little fun in it's own way. Our youth group softball games start tonight, which has me very excited, and Katie came over today, which has been fun. That's all for now.

Seeya later bye.

Seize the day

I haven't done really anything today. Just hung out and watched tv.

AHHH, I'm SO LAZY.

...ahem...anyway, I think I'll go for a bike ride.

Later yo.

Not as late tonight.

Well, we made it through today. We got to Isabella's baptism late, so we wound up standing through-out the service. They had it in a different room than where mass is usually held at that church, I'm not sure why. This made it so that there was a lot less space, which is why we had to stand up. After that we went home for a while before going to the Corn Hill Arts festival. We met up with Tim after a long time of trying to find a parking space, and just hung around for a while. It was a lot like the other festivals during the year (canal days, the Lilac festival), so nothing too exciting. After that we got to go home and relax for the rest of the day. So, all in all, it wasn't as hectic as I thought is would be, but I'm still glad that today is over.

Good night everyone.

The question must be asked.

Why am I still awake? Isabella (our friend Liz's new daughter) is getting baptized tomorrow, errr, later today. The service is at 9:30, but they live out in Victor, so we should probably leave around 8:50 or so. That means that I should get up at 8 which means that I should go to bed now. Also, our cousin Ryan is having his Graduation party tomorrow AND it's the second day of corn hill. Hopefully the day won't be too hectic, after all, it is the weekend. And now it's 1:03 AM, so I think I'll go to bed. Good night everyone.

Or, good morning I guess. =D

I didn't wake up till 10:50 this morning.

4th of July

We (Annie, Lucie, Aidan, Dad, and I) went to the Fairport parade today. It wasn't raining too hard when we left the house, but by the time we were sitting down to watch the parade the rain was coming down hard. Most of us got pretty wet, but we still had fun. I heard it wasn't as good as the Penfield parade, but at least we got to go to a parade on the 4th of July.

Happy 4th everyone.

whoops

It's been a while since an update, so I thought I should post. Nothing much today, still a little tired from yesterday. All the swimming and the soccer and the running and the firewroks, it was all great. I hope everyone else had a great day too. Not sure what we're going to do today, guess we'll just have to play it by ear. Hope everyone has a great day.

More parties

Went to Alex's Grad party earlier today (as I think all of you know), which was very fun. For now grad parties are over till the middle of July for me, at which point I have two more. Well it's late, so I'm going to bed.

Goodnight everyone.

Saturday, June 24, 2006

Went to my friend Cecilia's grad party today. It was more fun than I ever would have guessed, I can't wait to go to another party (for my friend Evan) tomorrow. I rode my bike there today, only on the way there (it was too dark to ride back), it was around 10.5 miles. I hope to bike to Evan's grad party tomorrow, also around the same distance away, though closer to 11 miles. That one doesn't end so late, so maybe I'll bike back too. Till tomorrow.

Night.

Another update

Went to CrossRoads Prom last night. It's a end of the year party that my youth group does. It was a lot of fun, but very tiring.
Today we have Keiran and Gabe because Liz is being induced to have her baby now that it's finally due. I'm going to a grad party for one of my friends later today, but other than that, nothing very interesting. Until later.

Finally, another update.

Nothing actually too new, or maybe there is just too much of it to write it all down. So I'll just go over some of the bigger things.

I started playing guitar recently. My sister Clare has one that she's leting me use. It's a lot of fun to just mess around with it while listening to songs on my computer. One day I'll actually learn chords and stuff, but I'm having more fun just "noodleing" with it right now.

My Dad got a cut on his head after tripping on chair while going to the grill. It's pretty bad, but he'll be okay. What seems to be really bugging him now is, he had to cut his hair really short so that it wouldn't bother the cut, so now it's all gray again. Gottta keep the priorities. =D

Today nothing too interesting, but that's fine with me since I'm have a lot to do for the rest of the week. People are having their grad partys this weekend, so there's a lot to go to. It should be fun though.

Bye for now.

Hey! An update!

Just wanted to say happy birthday to Lucie.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUCIE!!!!!!!!

Thursday, May 18, 2006

Keepin' the updates going.

Well, the back pain is gone, now my ankle hurts. It had been hurting for a while now, but it was quite a bit more painful today. I'm not really sure what I did to it, seeing as it just started hurting out of no-where. I think I may have strained something, but I'm really not sure. On to better news. Went to choir tonight. I sang okay, though I had a kind of hard time concentrating. The songs we practiced are okay, but I can think of other songs we've done that I like more. That's really it for today. Tomorrow I have a lock-in for youth group to raise money so some churches can build a habitat house. That should be fun, though it could be a complete disaster.

I'm hoping for fun. :-)

Hey, I did it.

Not too much to report today. Hurt my back again. I had been sitting in a recliner funny yesterday, which caused my back to hurt. It didn't hurt anymore today, till I went on the trampoline. That made it hurt a lot. It's better now, though still a bit touchy. Other than back pain, nothing to exciting. Dad had the day off so I played basketball with him and that was really it. Just kind of hung around the house.

Till tomorrow.

Finally

Sorry I haven't updated for so long. I promise to start doing it every day. And I really mean that. Nothing too interesting has been happening recently, just normal every day life. We have relitives coming to our house later this week. They live in England and we've never met them before, but they made contact through email a while ago saying that they were coming. One of them, a man named Phillip Harden, is the family historian, or so I've heard. As such, I've been asked by Mom to sort out the slides that we got from our Aunt Annie. Most of them have people that I've never met, though I did see a few with my Dad when he was my age. That was interesting. So that's probably what I'll be doing for the rest of this week till they get here on Friday. Let's hope I can sort them all out. Have a good day everyone.

Was it worth it? Maybe.

I took nine photos today, then using photoshop, I put them together to make one big one. I took me an hour or so, but I think it was probably worth it. What do you think?

Today

Went mini-golfing earlier today, along with going to the batting cages. Both were fun, though I did terrible at the mini-golf. Oh well, it was a lot of fun anyway. Sorry I don't update very often, I haven't had much of anything to say recently. Now that breaks over and I'll be back in school maybe I'll come up with some ideas for posting. We'll see.

Happy Easter!

Got back from the St. Paul's Easter Vigil service a while ago. It started at 8:30 and went till 11:00. It was a great service complete with a large choir, a brass band, lots of flowers, some of which me and Alfie moved, and big banners hanging from the ceiling. The whole thing was really fun, from beginning to end, I'm really glad I went. It's now officially Easter so...

Good night and HAPPY EASTER!!!

Church

Went to two more church services today, I'm up to three now since yesterday. Tomorrow should be fun, I get to decorate St. Paul's in the morning, then tomorrow night I go to Easter Vigil, a two and a half to three hour service. Sunday morning I go to two more services, making a total of six services starting yesterday (Thursday). Around eight and a half hours of church over the course of 4 days. Should be fun.

Singin' in that Rain

Went to the Webster Thomas preformance of Singin' in the Rain earlier today. It was very good, better than I had expected. It also made me realize that I much prefer to see a play than to sit in a theater and watch a movie. I went to a preformance of Beauty and the Beast earlier this year and liked that as well. Who knew? Other than that, it was a pretty normal day.

Tuesday, April 04, 2006

Oh boy.

I went to another planning meeting, this one for this upcoming youth group meeting. It was going pretty normal, but then Nora (our youth minister) asked me to say something at the meeting about how I see Jesus. I'm not even sure what to say or anything, I just have to figure it out, write it up, and hope it isn't terrible. I really hope I don't screw it up as it sounds like it could be a good meeting, which is mostly why I'm nervous. I'm sure it will be fine, I've just never done anything like this before, so I don't really know what to do. I'll probably write it up and send it to my friend Sarah LoPresti and ask her for advice, she's good at things like this.
Hope I'm not in over my head...

Whoops...

Sorry I haven't updated for so long. I always mean to, but I haven't been on the computer as much, and well, I'm lazy. Anyway, today was good. I got to wear shorts for the first time in a long time, which was nice. I played basket-ball with Lucie and Alfie and just kind of hung out all day. It's supposed to get into the 70's tomorrow, and as such I'm incredibly excited. Oh yeah, I also went to choir practice earlier tonight, which was very enjoyable. I enjoy singing and being around friends though, so that's not really surprising I suppose. Well, this just started getting boring (or maybe it always was?), so I think I'll stop for now. Night everyone.

Changes

Changed my blog's look, I was getting kind of bored with the old design. Just got back from my first planning meeting for Crossroads (my youth group), it was pretty fantastic. I'll write more later.

My life's news

I had a kinda interesting night tonight. Went with my brother to our friend Jesse's Eagle Scout ceramony. We got to talk to some of our friends afterwards, which was nice. Tomorrow we have the staff lock-in for our youth group, which I plan on going to. It starts with the 5:00 mass in the afternoon and goes till sometime on Sunday morning. It's supposed to be really fun, so I'm looking forward to it. I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to bring, seeing as our youth Minister hasn't e-mailed us all the details, but I know more or less what I'll need, so I'm not too worried about it. Then we have Crossroads (our youth group) on sunday night, which most of the staff should be exhausted at, from the lock-in. And it's Parent's night, so we get to show our parents just how weird and un-organized Crossroads is. Wouldn't have it any other way. :)
Hope you all have a good night sleep and a good day tomorrow.

Pictures

Took a bunch of photos last night, I really like the way this one came out, so I'm putting it up here. That's it for now.

A new beginning

Hello all, Ian Jutsum here. I started this blog for the fun of it and so that I could post comments on everyone elses blogs. I'm not sure how often I'll update, but I'll try to do it at least every other day, if not every day. That's it for now. Until later.
